Hubby is scheduled for a throat operation today. I rushed from Ormoc to Cebu yesterday to be present during this occasion. My ever thoughtful son in law with whom we stay when we come to Cebu took us to Casa Verde for dinner last night knowing hubby would be on fast the following day. There I relished the best baby back ribs ever and a grilled fish which was so delectable.
The servings were so generous too that I had to seek the help of my companions to finish my fish.
Dad did a good job with his ribs. That was the best ribs I ever tasted.
Ayn could not finish her dish, as usual, and she still eats very slow. The desert was icecream (banana split) and this time we shared it.
It was a good night tho we went home early. Casa Verde I noticed is an old residential home of the Spanish style which they converted into a resto or pub. at the Garden, there was a reception for a birthday. The ambiance was excellent, I think I should go there one more time. Thanks Francis and Ayn, today is Dad's most dreadful day. Wish us luck and God bless.
